The Last Day Generation & the Giants III

I sent the hornet before you which drove them out from before you, also the two kings of the Amorites, but not with your sword or with your bow. I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you did not build, and you dwell in them; you eat of the vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant.’ Josh. 24:12

In the last message on giants, we spoke about the giant Og, king of Bashan. In this passage, the kings referred to were Sihon and Og. God says they were defeated not with the sword. God destroyed them and gave His people their land, cities, and vineyards (Deut. 3:1-3). Later when God moved His people to possess the Promised Land, again we see giants occupying the land of inheritance.

“There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants), and we were like grasshoppers IN OUR OWN SIGHT, AND SO WE WERE IN THEIR SIGHT.” Numbers 13:33

Joshua and Caleb were two of the ten spies sent into the promised land who saw these giants. Clearly, the spies were all terrified except for Joshua and Caleb—they had a mindset of defeat! They saw themselves as grasshoppers, as weak and defenseless! AND SO THEY WERE! They became what they saw themselves as! Their attitude and unbelief angered the Lord greatly as they were actually magnifying the giants above Him—Elohim—God of all Creation. This is an important revelation to grasp: because they saw themselves as weak grasshoppers, THE GIANTS ALSO SAW THEM IN THE SAME WAY. The giants see our fear!

How does the enemy see us? Do they see us as Mighty warriors? Do they see Jesus, Lord Sabaoth in us? Do they recognize us as they recognized Paul when they said Paul, we know? But to the sons of Sceva, the demon said, Who are you? (Acts 19:15). As the armies of God are now mobilizing to possess the Promised Land of Christ’s rule and reign, the giants are again showing up for a fight and a showdown. Jesus confirmed this when He told us that as it was in Noah’s time, it would also be in the last days.

“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matthew 24:37

The Last-Day Generation

All the signs are pointing to the truth that we are THE LAST-DAY GENERATION and THE LAST-DAY ARMY OF GOD—the Vanguard that pierces the darkness and breaks open the doors to the kingdom reign of God on earth!

God charged the First Generation of warriors, His First Army, to go, conquer and occupy the Promised Land for the Kingdom of God—ultimately to carry the Ark of His Presence up to the prepared Throne in Jerusalem. We are now poised to re-enact this procession!

THE LAST DAY ARMY WILL BE THE FIRST—the First to open the ANCIENT GATES to the Kingdom Reign of Christ on Earth!

“SUCH IS THE GENERATION OF THOSE WHO SEEK HIM, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah (pause for reflection). Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of Glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle. Psalm 24:6-7 (emphasis mine)

The two Harvests representing two generations are presently growing to fullness side by side! The generation of the wicked tares serving Satan and the generation of Holy warriors—the sons of God, serving the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Such is the Generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.

Psalm 27:8 has been weighing heavily on my heart in recent months as I believe it represents an army taken from this generation: “When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.”

Fighting Giants – We can take Goliath!

This Last Day Generation will encounter the things that the First generation of warriors did and that Noah encountered: violence, immorality, giants, and hybrid people. We are living out the Exodus from the world as in Egypt, a massive captivity of people, who are crossing over to possess the Promised Land just as the first-day army did. We must therefore grasp the lessons they learned—obedience like Noah, no hidden idols in the home. The Lord Sabaoth shows up! An army is made ready in full consecration to the LORD.

“He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, Nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The LORD his God is with him, And the shout of a King is among them. It now must be said of Jacob And of Israel, ‘Oh, what God has done!’ Look, a people rises like a lioness, And lifts itself up like a lion; It shall not lie down until it devours the prey, And drinks the blood of the slain.” Numbers 23:21 

These were a people who have learned some very tough lessons in the wilderness! A new Generation prepared and consecrated to God! The older generation had all died in the wilderness. The King’s War Cry is with them! As the armies move out, Heaven comes down in a great invasion of earth. Satan comes down. Demons come down. Angel armies come down. Earth is the battleground. We’re living out what the first generation did… as the last generation that has been made the first. JESUS WAS WITH THE FIRST AND HE IS WITH THE LAST.

“Who has done this and carried it through, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I, the LORD—with the first of them and with the last—I am He.” Isaiah 41:4

In a future Day, the First and the Last will be made perfect together. This is God’s transcendent Plan!

“These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned SOMETHING BETTER FOR US so that only together with us would they be made perfect.” Hebrews 11:39-40

Paul made this statement to his generation, the early church, and THEY DID receive something much better than the first generations—they received Jesus Christ into their midst, Son of God born a Son of Israel. HOWEVER, THIS SCRIPTURE IS, EVEN MORE, TRUE OF OUR GENERATION as the last day generation will prepare the way for the return of the King and receive the Glorified Christ into our midst.

The Body of Christ is being prepared to Cross over! In preparation for the Crossover and the Battles they would face against the giants, they read and studied the Word of God. They recounted their history and WHAT GOD HAD DONE for them in the book of Deuteronomy.

 “Also you shall destroy all the peoples whom the LORD your God delivers over to you; your eye shall have no pity on them; nor shall you serve their gods, for that will be a snare to you. “If you should say in your heart, ‘These nations are greater than I; how can I dispossess them?’—you shall not be afraid of them, but YOU SHALL REMEMBER WELL what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt: the great trials which your eyes saw, the signs and the wonders, the mighty hand and the outstretched arm, by which the LORD your God brought you out. So shall the LORD your God do to all the peoples of whom you are afraid! Moreover the LORD your God will SEND THE HORNET among them until those who are left, WHO HIDE themselves from you, ARE DESTROYED.  You shall not be terrified of them; for the LORD your God, the great and awesome God, is among you. Deuteronomy 7:16-20

It is always time to live in purity of heart, but this is especially true of this time that we’re living in right now! THIS IS NO TIME FOR COMPROMISE! Be very careful God is going to remove the agitators, and the rebellious from their positions—those who refuse to obey or bow the knee. Learn to be humble to be quiet to be still and to be ready—be girded up and alert to hear His Voice.

It is time to conquer fear and magnify God. It is time to close all the doors providing access to the enemy and purify your hearts. It’s time for you to join the resistance; you have a part to play in the unfolding of history. There is a mass harvest about to be rescued out of captivity.

There is a Moses pharaoh showdown on the horizon. But we are not like the people in Egypt at that time. We are with the armies of the living God marching to occupy our lands. We are in a movement with the Holy Spirit, a procession moving on a trajectory toward Jerusalem.

Women are prevalent in this fight! The end-time army of God has battalions and divisions of women made ready. Like Deborah, they are honored and willing to ride into the battle alongside the men. These are the women spoken of by Joel, heralds announcing the word of God in the procession in Psalm 68.

The command of the Forward March assumes that you are dressed, and you are in a position ready to go! WE ARE AT THE WATERS, and God the Father is parting the waters for us now.

This is the last day season of GREAT GRACE. We must shout grace, grace to the mountains in our way—to the giants in the land—everything in our path will become a plain!  Double grace is the privilege given to the Headstone generation—the last-day army. We are in the era of double grace required to get the job done! It is not by might nor by power, but it is by the spirit of the living God! Great Grace and Favor will be given to this last-day generation to overcome the mountains, hurdles, and challenges blocking the path of the Gates to the Kingdom reign of Christ. Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of Glory shall come in.
